PURPOSE
To provide customer service support for employees and the payroll team, focusing on addressing payroll complaints, resolutions and feedback to employees and reporting on related inquiries.
THE JOB
- Answering employee inquiries related to payroll, explaining proceses, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, updating information like salary changes, benefits, and tax withholdings
- Ensuring adherence to relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Collecting and verifying employee timesheets, entering data into the payroll system, calculating wages and deductions.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management understanding
- Possess excellent numerical and analytical skills to ensure accurate calculations of final settlements.
- Have proficiency in payroll systems, HRIS, and Microsoft Excel (or other data management tools).
- Be able to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth off boarding.
- Show good problem-solving and process improvement skills for identifying inefficiencies and suggesting better approaches.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in payroll processing, HR administration, or customer service, preferably in a corporate environment.
