NATIONAL SALES MANAGER – RS/INNOVATION - FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA
PURPOSE
To grow FMN new product lines profitably and penetrate RS/Innovation categories in line with our sales growth and profitability objectives.
THE JOB
- Develop and implement sales strategy and growth plan for new product lines (Garri, Oil & Fats, Consumer Sugar, etc).
- Achieve sales volume targets and continuously grow the RLMC of the new product lines.
- Develop and continuously grow FMN products presence, visibility and sales growth in all FMN sales channels – Wholesales, Neighborhood, Open Market, HORECA & Modern Trade.
- Organize the sales force and the sales activities to ensure continuous improvement in sales performance and sales volumes.
- Develop winning Sales & RTC strategies on all FMN Innovation projects to deliver high value projects flawlessly executed that achieve short & long term innovation targets.
- Analyze and evaluate sales volumes report across different regions to ensure effective distribution and a balanced portfolio of products across all regions and markets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to gather market intelligence report to ascertain the quality of products vis-à-vis customers demand and to resolve challenges faced by customers in the market.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to design and implement effective sales and market entry strategies.
- Demonstrate proven sales leadership experience, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in FMCG or related industries.
- Be skilled in Route-to-Consumer (RTC) strategy development, ensuring effective product distribution and market penetration across diverse regions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage).
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10–12 years’ progressive experience in Sales and Marketing within the FMCG industry.
