CHECKER – INTERNAL CONTROL - PREMIUM EDIBLE OIL PRODUCTS LIMITED - IBADAN

PURPOSE

To ensure that internal control processes are effectively monitored to minimize losses/ wastages.

THE JOB

  •  Physical verification of local supplies at stores/offices and treatment of vendors’ waybills in line with Internal Control procedures.
  • Witness diesel receipts and daily diesel dipping and issuing to generators, trucks, tankers, cranes, Hiab and forklifts, etc. & also transfer from diesel tank to Refinery and Power Plant.
  • Witness Hexane receipts and daily Hexane dipping and maintain an accurate record
  • Witness raw materials receipt, transfer, evacuation, and loading of finished goods and maintain an accurate record
  • Document supply items on the store monitoring register.
  • Validation of shipping/loading documents on Axapta at exit gates in all operational locations.
  • In the case of bagged & bulk products, reconcile gate pass quantity, weighbridge docket net weight, and invoiced quantity for correctness.
  • Check the net weight of loaded trucks to ensure they are within the approved tolerance range.
  • Maintain load-out report in hard and soft copy.
  • Perform physical count of returned goods and record same in a register.
  • Check scrap load-out in the operational location.
  • Observe monthly inventory count.

THE PERSON MUST

  • Have good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Have attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Be physically fit to handle lifting, arranging, and stock movement.
  • Have basic computer knowledge (MS Excel or inventory software is an advantage).

QUALIFICATION

  • 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience.
