INTERNAL CONTROL CHECKER PREMIER FEED MILLS – AGRO ALLIED - IBADAN

PURPOSE

To ensure that the assets of the Company are well documented, monitored and the operational integrity of internal processes are controlled, and complied with from time to time.

THE JOB

  • Monitor business operations to proactively detect and prevent loading discrepancies.
  • Conduct stock check and reconcile raw material and product inventory within Business Operation areas including Production, warehouse, Silos, Admin, Ports, etc.
  • Promptly report any non-compliance issues, stock variances or any unforeseen problems to the designated management personnel.

THE PERSON MUST

  • Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting of findings.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory tools.
  • Have good interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Warehouse, Admin, and Ports personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Apprenticeship of not less than 2 years from a trade center or recognized Agribusiness/SSCE with strong Accounting/Mathematics background.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 1- 2 years’ relevant experience in bookkeeping and storekeeping practice, inventory management or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Agro and Agro-allied industry will be an added advantage.
