PURPOSE
The
Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the organization,
ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience for
visitors, clients, and employees.
THE JOB
- Serve as the first point of contact
for all visitors, ensuring a courteous and professional reception.
- Greet, register, and direct visitors
in accordance with company security procedures.
- Issue visitor badges and ensure
compliance with access control requirements.
- Receive, screen, and dispatch
incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and courier packages.
- Maintain front desk records, visitor
logs, and call registers.
- Ensure availability of reception and
office supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and
professional reception area.
- Escalate facilities or maintenance
issues affecting the front office.
- Support office security and
emergency procedures when required.
THE
PERSON MUST HAVE
- Have
good verbal and written communication skills to professionally receive
visitors, answer calls, and handle inquiries.
- Possess
strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a polite, friendly, and
professional attitude.
- Demonstrate
the ability to manage front desk operations, including scheduling,
record-keeping, and basic administrative tasks.
- Be
proficient in the use of office equipment and basic computer applications such
as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
- Be
well-organized, attentive to detail, and able to multitask effectively in a
fast-paced environment.

- Minimum: One years’ experience as a Receptionist/Front Desk Officer
