PURPOSE
The Milling Technician supports the efficient operation of
the mill by carrying out daily production, maintenance, and safety-related
tasks to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
THE JOB
- Comply
with all Health, Safety, and GMP regulations.
- Carry
out daily GMP and operational checks.
- Monitor
cleaning machines and support routine maintenance.
- Perform
basic production, breakdown, and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Record
process readings and prepare basic quality reports.
- Maintain
good hygiene and housekeeping standards within the mill.
THE
PERSON MUST
- Have
a basic understanding of milling operations and production processes.
- Have
ability to operate, monitor, and check milling machines efficiently.
- Have
working knowledge of GMP, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Have
basic knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Have
ability to record process readings and complete basic production reports.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum
of 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- NABTEB
/ City & Guilds (C&G) Technical in Electrical or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- At
least 2 years’ experience in a milling or production environment.
