FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS MANAGER GOLDEN PENNY FOODS, APAPA

PURPOSE ​

To support the Financial Planning & Analysis function by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting performance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management

THE JOB

  • Analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and explanations.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making.
  • Support evaluation of investment opportunities, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to understand business drivers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the FP&A function.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

THE PERSON MUST

  • Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling tool.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

QUALIFICATION

  • HND/bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or CFA) is required
  • MBA is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in FP&A, finance, or consulting.
  • Experience in FMCG or a top-tier consulting firm is required
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics 365) is an added advantage.
