PURPOSE
To supervise and maintain all Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
equipment and associated plumbing systems, including boilers and compressed air
loops, ensuring efficient and continuous utility operations across designated
sites.
THE JOB
- Coordinate
daily operations and maintenance activities of the water treatment plant,
including boreholes, treatment units, and distribution systems.
- Supervise
installation and execution of WTP-related projects to ensure quality and
cost-effective delivery.
- Plan
and coordinate availability of spare parts for WTP equipment and associated
systems.
- Supervise
water treatment technicians and plumbers, including shift scheduling and daily
task allocation.
- Monitor
and maintain boilers, piping systems, and compressed air loops.
- Collate
and review daily maintenance reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure
compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify
and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Support
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reduce
wastage.
THE

QUALIFICATION
- 5
O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two
sittings/Technical qualifications.
- OND
qualification in a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of 3 years cognate experience in water treatment plant operations or utilities
management.
- Experience
in industrial or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
