PURPOSE
Support logistics and dispatch operations by coordinating shipments,
maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in
compliance with company policies and procedures.
THE JOB
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate
deliveries.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status, including delays where necessary.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation such as invoices, shipping records, and inventory reports.
• Liaise with transporters, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock reconciliation and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Support the logistics team in resolving transportation issues and optimizing delivery routes.
• Verify shipment details and reconcile discrepancies with suppliers and transporters.
• Maintain proper filing systems for logistics records and documentation.
• Assist in preparing reports on logistics performance, costs, and operational efficiency.
THE PERSON MUST
• Have strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Possess good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Demonstrate problem-solving ability in handling logistics issues.
QUALIFICATION
• Strictly Diploma/OND in a related field
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 1–3 years experience in
logistics, supply chain, or dispatch operations.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
