REGIONAL ASSISTANT MANAGER - ROUTE TO CONSUMER EXECUTION GOLDEN PENNY FOODS – NORTHWEST.

PURPOSE ​

Execute and optimize route-to-market strategies to ensure efficient product distribution, increased market penetration, and enhanced sales performance. Drive execution excellence in distribution planning, customer segmentation, and trade partner management to maximize sales and profitability.

THE JOB

  • Develop and implement regional route-to-market strategies to improve distribution efficiency.
  • Optimize customer segmentation and ensure effective trade coverage.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive execution of distribution and retail execution plans.
  • Analyze sales and distribution data to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure adherence to agreed service levels.
  • Strengthen trade partnerships to enhance product availability and visibility.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess execution effectiveness and competitor activities.
  • Support the implementation of new route-to-market initiatives and technologies.

THE PERSON MUST

  • Possess strong knowledge of route-to-market strategies and distribution management within a regional sales environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze sales and distribution data to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Have experience in customer segmentation, trade coverage planning, and retail execution.
  • Be skilled in distributor and trade partner management, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and operational standards.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools for reporting and performance tracking.

QUALIFICATION

  • HND/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 years of experience in route-to-market execution, distribution management, or sales operations, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
