PURPOSE
To support the efficient running of the store by carrying
out all operational activities under the supervision of the Store
Supervisor/Officer, ensuring availability of stock in good condition and
maintaining accurate inventory records.
THE JOB
- Receive and inspect incoming stock, ensuring
proper tagging and storage in designated locations.
- Issue stock items to relevant departments to
ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all
stock movements.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate stock
replenishment when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of
the store always.
- Comply with all QMS/FSMS standards and
procedures.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have good interpersonal and communication
skills.
- Have good analytical and problem-solving
abilities.
- Be physically fit and able to handle manual
tasks.
- Be proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Be reliable and demonstrate integrity in
handling stock
- Be willing to work long and irregular hours when
required
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’ level Credits including English &
Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.
- Strictly OND qualification in a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in
storekeeping or inventory management.
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment
is an added advantage.
