PURPOSE
To improve the efficiency, safety, and quality of packaging
equipment within the Finished Product Department by implementing effective
maintenance processes and managing engineering projects across packaging lines
THE JOB
- Implement
reliability and preventive maintenance programs for packaging equipment (Form
& Fill and Cubeline lines).
- Utilize
predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing,
infrared thermography, and oil analysis.
- Analyze
equipment data and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
- Drive
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging line efficiency and
manufacturability.
- Troubleshoot
and optimize new and existing packaging equipment.
- Collaborate
with operations to identify root causes of production issues and implement
solutions.
- Design
and manage projects involving packaging and support systems (conveying,
robotics, instrumentation, weight control, and quality systems).
- Manage
engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Communicate
technical concepts effectively across teams and leadership levels.
- Support
operations during weekends or extended hours when required.

QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s
degree (B.Sc./B.Eng.) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering,
or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong
hands-on experience with packaging or production lines is preferred.
- Knowledge
of electrical systems, control systems integration, and electro-mechanical
drives.
