PURPOSE
To support the mechanical team by ensuring that all
fitting-related tasks are carried out efficiently, effectively, and in line
with best engineering practices, while minimizing operational costs.
THE JOB
- Execute
all planned and corrective maintenance activities using the Job Order system.
- Perform
daily inspections on assigned equipment and report findings to the supervisor.
- Carry
out maintenance work in line with standard engineering practices and company
procedures.
- Identify
potential equipment faults proactively and escalate issues for prompt
resolution.
- Ensure
all work areas are clean and properly maintained after completing tasks.
- Accurately
complete and submit Job Orders within the same shift.
- Diagnose
faults effectively and implement timely solutions.
- Maintain
compliance with FSMS and QMS standards.
THE
PERSON MUST
- Possess
strong technical and mechanical skills.
- Be
detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate
a proactive approach to maintenance and fault detection.
- Be
disciplined with strong adherence to procedures and safety standards.
- Have
the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Maintain
high standards of housekeeping and organization.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum
of O’ Level with Trade Test Grade
- Additional
industrial or technical training is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of 3 years’ experience in a similar industrial environment.
- Demonstrated
technical competence with verifiable references is an added advantage.
