PURPOSE
To coordinate and supervise electrical maintenance activities within the plant to ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, and optimal plant performance in support of continuous production operations.
THE JOB
- Monitor electrical maintenance logbooks to review completed repairs and outstanding jobs, and follow up to ensure prompt resolution.
- Allocate electrical maintenance jobs to the maintenance team to ensure quick response to requests from user departments.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance activities within approved schedules to prevent breakdowns.
- Supervise electrical maintenance work to ensure tasks are executed to required standards and specifications.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on maintenance work carried out for reference and record‑keeping.
- Promote effective communication between process operators and the maintenance team to ensure timely reporting and resolution of electrical defects.
- Support plant safety and reliability by addressing electrical faults and minimizing downtime.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong supervisory and coordination skills in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Have good attention to detail and commitment to quality electrical maintenance work.
- Be proactive and results‑oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- OND in Electrical Engineering‑related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in an electrical maintenance role within a related or industrial environment.
