PURPOSE
To manage and execute end‑to‑end export operations, ensuring
timely, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery of products to international
customers. The role oversees export documentation, shipment execution,
regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring alignment
with commercial terms, banking requirements, and company policies.
THE JOB
- Prepare,
verify, and manage all export documentation for containerized and bulk
shipments, including NXP, pro‑forma invoices, commercial invoices, packing
lists, certificates of origin, and other regulatory permits.
- Ensure
full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and
destination‑country import rules.
- Maintain
accurate and up‑to‑date export records in line with internal controls and audit
requirements.
- Coordinate
with external partners including freight forwarders, shipping lines, surveyors,
and customs agents to ensure smooth and timely export operations.
- Monitor
and track export shipments from loading to final delivery, proactively managing
delays and operational issues.
- Ensure
shipping schedules align with contractual terms and customer delivery
requirements.
- Liaise
with internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and
Warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution of export
THE
PERSON MUST
- Demonstrate
strong knowledge of export documentation, international trade regulations, and
customs procedures.
- Have
excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills across internal and
external parties.
- Possess
strong attention to detail with a commitment to zero documentation errors.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s
degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of five (5) years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or export operations.
- Experience
in agro‑allied or food manufacturing logistics will be an added advantage.
