PURPOSE
To provide first-line HR advisory support across assigned
business units, ensuring effective implementation of HR strategies, policies,
and initiatives while supporting the delivery of Group HR projects and
partnering with business leaders to drive people performance.
THE JOB
- Provide first-line HR advisory support to
employees across assigned plants, warehouses, and business functions on
employee relations, HR processes, and specialist HR services.
- Monitor workforce levels to ensure optimal
manning and headcount efficiency.
- Track, maintain, and report agreed HR
productivity metrics.
- Collaborate with Centre of Excellence and other
HR teams to improve employee benefits and service delivery.
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process,
ensuring timely completion across assigned units.
- Support managers in implementing Performance
Improvement Plans (PIPs) where required.
- Monitor Learning & Development interventions
to close identified competency gaps.
- Drive effective communication and employee
buy-in for change initiatives.
- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and overtime,
ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Prepare and integrate HR reports into weekly
business reports.
- Develop HR dashboards and reports for the HR
Business Partner.
- Support any other HR initiatives as assigned

- Possess sound knowledge of HR policies, employee
relations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and
communication skills.
- Have excellent problem-solving and
conflict-resolution abilities.
- Be highly organized with strong reporting and
analytical skills.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage
multiple priorities.
- Have the ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced operational environment.
QUALIFICATION
- First degree in Human Resources, Industrial
Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant HR experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial
operations is an added advantage.
