PURPOSE
To drive sales and revenue growth for the Oil, Fats and
Cereal Products Category within the assigned geographical area by developing
and executing sales strategies, managing distributor relationships, and
achieving category-specific sales and market share targets.
THE JOB
- Execute
sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and market share objectives for
the Oil, Fats and Cereal Products portfolio.
- Manage
and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to
optimize category availability, visibility, and distribution reach.
- Monitor
market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the Oil,
Fats and Cereals category, identifying growth opportunities.
- Implement
promotional activities and merchandising strategies to enhance category
awareness and shelf presence.
- Ensure
effective distribution, stock availability, and minimal stock-outs across all
channels for category products.
- Collaborate
with the marketing team to execute category-specific trade marketing
initiatives.
- Track
and report sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve
category performance and market share.
- Train
and develop sales representatives to strengthen execution capabilities within
the category.
- Ensure
compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
THE
PERSON MUST HAVE
- Mandatory experience in FMCG, specifically
within the Oil, Fats and Cereal Products Category (non-negotiable).
- Strong expertise in Route-to-Market (RTM) and
territory management strategies.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver
targets within the category.
- Strong experience in distributor and channel
management.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on category
growth opportunities and market gaps.
- Strong data analysis, reporting, and performance
management skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
Marketing, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in FMCG sales.
- Mandatory: Proven experience managing or selling
Oil, Fats and/or Cereal Products (non-negotiable).
- Strong background in territory management,
distributor management, and trade execution.
