PURPOSE
To support efficient store operations by accurately receiving,
storing, issuing, and documenting materials while ensuring stock availability
in good condition and strict compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS),
Food Safety standards, inventory control procedures, and safety requirements.
THE JOB
- Receive, inspect, and verify stock items against
delivery documents to ensure quantity and quality accuracy.
- Issue materials based on approved requisitions
while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock receipts,
issues, transfers, and returns.
- Organize and arrange stock items systematically
for easy identification, accessibility, and retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and material usage to
ensure timely replenishment and uninterrupted operations.
- Notify relevant personnel when stock reaches
reorder levels.
- Participate in periodic stock counts, inventory
audits, and reconciliation exercises.
- Ensure daily updating of bin cards, stock
records, and inventory management systems.
- Apply FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and LIFO
(Last-In-First-Out) inventory principles where applicable
THE
PERSON MUST
- Be detail-oriented with strong record-keeping
and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and
accountability in handling company materials.
- Possess good numerical and inventory management
skills.
- Be physically fit and capable of handling
routine warehouse activities.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits including
English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in
storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
