PURPOSE 

To supervise and coordinate inventory control activities, ensuring effective monitoring of loading operations, inventory movements, and internal control processes to minimize wastages, prevent losses, and safeguard company assets.

THE JOB​

• Supervise Internal Control Checkers to ensure accuracy and compliance during the loading of company products.
• Allocate Checkers to all loading bays and control points to ensure adequate coverage of operations.
• Consolidate load-out reports and checker activity reports across shifts for management review and decision-making.
• Raise and document incident reports from loading bays and operational areas.
• Follow up on control issues, discrepancies, and exceptions reported by Checkers and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain attendance records and daily supervision reports for Internal Control personnel.
• Monitor the movement of raw wheat, bulk flour, and other materials across inter-company transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Verify compliance with inventory control procedures, loading standards, and approved operational processes.

THE PERSON MUST ​

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have strong numerical and inventory reconciliation skills.
• Be detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping capabilities.

QUALIFICATION

• OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• O'Level certificate with five (5) credits including Mathematics and English Language.

EXPERIENCE​

• Minimum of two (2) years' cognate experience in Internal Control, Inventory Management, Audit, Warehouse Operations, or a related field.
