PURPOSE
To monitor, inspect and maintain Instrument and Electronics equipment while adhering to HSE and food safety policies.
THE JOB
- Maintain Instrument equipment while ensuring safety of personnel and properties.
- Repairing and fixing of all Instrument equipment.
- Care for tools and equipment, ladders, testing equipment etc.
- Good housekeeping, leaving a worksite cleaner than you found it.
- Keeping logbooks accurate.
- Troubleshooting and fixing of process instruments, electronic equipment, PLC, DCS, UPS etc.
- Ensure electricity accidents and mishaps are prevented.
- Maintenance of all Instrument equipment and components.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Have good knowledge of electrical machine, devices, drawings and controls.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Be physically fit and capable of working in factory and outdoor environments.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) Technical in Electrical or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in electrical maintenance or industrial operations.
