PURPOSE
To ensure efficient milling operations for the production of
high-quality flour that meets or exceeds customer expectations, safety
standards, and company production targets.
THE JOB
- Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and
Environmental regulations within the milling environment.
- Monitor and supervise the receipt and quality of
raw materials to ensure smooth milling operations.
- Supervise Milling Assistant and ensure optimal
performance across assigned production areas.
- Implement on-the-job training and skills
development for milling staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure effective operation of
cleaning machines and pre-milling sections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production
records and operational documentation.
- Ensure optimum milling performance, including
extraction rate and production efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation,
and housekeeping across the production area.
- Identify, minimize, and report unplanned
downtime to improve plant availability and productivity.
- Report all quality, food safety, and safety
incidents in line with FSMS requirements and company policies.

- Demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory
ability in a production environment.
- Possess strong attention to detail and
commitment to quality standards.
- Have good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Food
Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
- Show strong problem-solving and decision-making
skills under pressure.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and
English/ NABTEB
- OND in
Engineering or Science discipline OR Intermediate & Final NABIM
Certification
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three years cognate experience in
milling or a related production environment
