PURPOSE
To ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability
of all air compressors, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation
systems to support uninterrupted plant operations.
THE JOB
- Monitor daily compressor parameters including
oil temperature, oil level, outlet temperature, pressure levels, and system
alarms.
- Conduct daily inspection for air and oil
leakages in all compressor systems.
- Clean air filters weekly using low-pressure air
to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect and maintain electronic water drain
(EWD) systems and manually drain condensate where necessary.
- Perform daily cleaning of the compressor room to
maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Inspect air conditioning units for leakages,
abnormal noise, and performance issues, and report faults promptly.
- Execute routine maintenance, servicing, and
repairs of all AC, refrigeration, and compressor systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance
activities, inspections, and repairs carried out.
- Coordinate with external HVAC contractors and
service providers to ensure system efficiency and uptime.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards and
promptly report hazards, faults, or unsafe conditions.
THE PERSON MUST
- Possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC, compressor
systems, and refrigeration units.
- Demonstrate ability to diagnose and resolve
mechanical and electrical faults quickly.
- Be detail-oriented with strong preventive
maintenance skills.
- Demonstrate strong safety awareness and
adherence to workplace safety standards.
QUALIFICATION
- Trade Test I to III Certificate, City &
Guilds (C&G), or OND in a relevant field (Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC
Engineering)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years cognate experience in HVAC,
compressor maintenance, or industrial technical operations
