PURPOSE
To drive FOPs’ commitment to continuous improvement in
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance, ensuring the effective
implementation of HSE objectives, policies, and procedures in line with local
regulatory requirements, with the primary aim of preventing workplace injuries,
protecting the environment, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
for all employees and stakeholders.
THE JOB
- Manage
the receipt, inspection, verification, and documentation of incoming materials
and supplies.
- Ensure
all stock items are properly stored, secured, and easily identifiable.
- Maintain
accurate inventory records and ensure proper accountability for all stock
movements.
- Conduct
periodic stock counts and reconciliations, investigating and reporting variances
where necessary.
- Prepare
and submit inventory and stock control reports to management.
- Monitor
stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to prevent stock-outs.
- Track
purchase orders and provide regular reports on overdue orders.
- Supervise
and coordinate the activities of store personnel to ensure operational
efficiency.
- Enforce
health, safety, quality management, and food safety requirements within the
store environment.
THE
PERSON MUST
- Have
excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Be
highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess
good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Be
proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and inventory management
systems.
QUALIFICATION
- BSc/HND
in Supply chain, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration,
Accounting or related discipline.
- Membership
of the Institute of Stores Management, Purchasing and Supply, or a related
professional body.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of three (3) years' relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management,
or warehouse operations.
- Experience
within a manufacturing environment.
