PURPOSE
To carry out condition-based maintenance using predictive
maintenance technologies to identify equipment defects early, improve asset
reliability, minimize unplanned downtime, and support continuous improvement
across milling operations.
THE JOB
- Perform
condition monitoring activities using vibration analysis, thermography,
ultrasound testing, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
- Conduct
dynamic and static testing on electric motors to detect potential faults and
assess equipment performance.
- Monitor,
analyze, and trend equipment condition data within the Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS).
- Diagnose
mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults using predictive maintenance
tools and techniques.
- Participate
in root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions to improve
equipment reliability.
- Prepare
detailed inspection reports, defect logs, and maintenance recommendations for
timely corrective actions.
- Maintain,
calibrate, and ensure the proper functioning of predictive maintenance
equipment and diagnostic tools.
THE
PERSON MUST
- Possess
practical knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques, including vibration
analysis, thermography, ultrasound inspections, and condition monitoring.
- Demonstrate
strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills for rotating
equipment and industrial machinery.
- Be
proficient in interpreting equipment condition data and preparing technical
maintenance reports using CMMS.
QUALIFICATION
- 5
O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English/ NABTEB, or Trade Test
Grade.
- NABTEB
/ City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of 2 years' cognate experience in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring,
or industrial maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
