PURPOSE
Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for the
inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of critical industrial
equipment, including pneumatic systems, Aerzen blowers, pressure relief valves,
rotary airlocks, and related mechanical components.
THE JOB
- Perform
routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of:
- Pneumatic
systems and components (cylinders, valves, actuators)
- Aerzen
blowers and compressed air systems
- Pressure
relief valves and safety valves
- Rotary
airlocks and material handling equipment
- Diagnose
mechanical faults and implement corrective actions promptly
- Dismantle,
repair, reassemble, and test equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Conduct
preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce breakdowns
- Monitor
equipment performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability
- Interpret
technical drawings, manuals, and schematics for troubleshooting and repair
- Ensure
all maintenance activities comply with safety and quality standards
- Maintain
accurate records of repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage
- Collaborate
with operations and engineering teams to resolve technical issue
THE
PERSON MUST
- Have
strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Be
able to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Demonstrate
good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Be
safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills..
QUALIFICATION
- 5
O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English/ NABTEB, or Trade Test Grade
I to III in Technical & Welding.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum
of 2 years' relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within a
manufacturing or industrial environment.
