ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN​ - PREMIER FEEDS LIMITED, IBADAN​
PURPOSE
We are looking for a skilled electrical technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
THE JOB
Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and control systems.
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing faulty electrical and electronic equipment to minimize downtime.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for maintenance activities.
Fabricating and modifying electrical components using appropriate hand tools and technical specifications.
Conducting routine inspections of plant electrical panels and equipment using approved checklists.
Participating in Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and other maintenance programs.
Monitoring and recording energy consumption and other operational data to support plant performance improvement.
Calibrating weighing scales and other electrical measuring devices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records, shift reports, and other required technical documentation.
THE PERSON MUST
Have sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Be able to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
Be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Have experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
QUALIFICATION
- OND, NABTEB, Trade Test, or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
