PURPOSE
To drive and coordinate Manufacturing Excellence standards, methodologies, performance metrics, and capability development, enabling the achievement of world-class manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence programs, and strategic stakeholder collaboration.
THE JOB
Facilitate and train plant teams on continuous improvement tools, lean methodologies, waste elimination, value stream mapping (VSM), and loss cost management.
Drive improvement projects focused on operational efficiency, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and capability development across the Group.
Coordinate waste reduction initiatives and facilitate performance review sessions to ensure delivery of targeted savings.
Support the deployment and continuous improvement of Maintenance and Reliability Systems through training, coaching, and structured maintenance planning.
Develop, standardize, and manage Manufacturing Excellence KPI reporting frameworks across business units.
THE PERSON MUST HAVE
Have a strong passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Manufacturing Excellence principles.
Possess excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
Have strong facilitation, coaching, and training skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
HND/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence is required.
Additional Advantage: Project Management certification.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3–6 years' relevant experience in Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, IndustrialEngineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
Experience deploying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE, 5S, Visual Management, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
