PURPOSE
To plan,
coordinate, and control all Electronics and Automation maintenance,
installation, and project activities of electrical and electronics systems to
ensure the safety, reliability, availability, and effectiveness of the
Electric Power Transfer and distribution in the plant.
THE JOB
- Manage the installation for all
Electrical and Automation works in the plant
- Manage efficient use of labor,
material, and equipment in the plant to achieve a
cost-effective operation.
- Designing and implementing preventive
and corrective maintenance plans
- Installation and calibration of process
transmitters and sensors
- Develop various instrumentation
documents like Logic Diagrams, Control Narratives, Instrumented Protection
Function Narratives, Wiring connection details & Loop diagrams
- Adhere strictly to safe work procedures
and safety policies in the plant.
- Design and execute projects within
given specifications and budget within an approved time schedule and
ensure a safe work system
- Manage specific assigned projects to
ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant health
and safety regulations, FSMS requirements, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with FSMS
requirements in the assigned work process
- Ensure the integration of the food
safety management system requirements into the departmental processes
- Implementation of food safety-related
improvement programs
- Ensure identified problems(s) as
regards the FSMS are reported to the QA team or food safety team as
applicable

- Have strong communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong leadership, negotiation,
and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and
problem-solving abilities.
QUALIFICATION
- HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- M.Sc. in Automation is an added
advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of ten (10) years' cognate
Electrical & Automation experience.
- Membership in COREN is a requirement.
