PURPOSE  

Manage the effective maintenance of all the machines in the mills to ensure that they are performing efficiently and effectively. 

THE JOB 

Service and repair all diesel and gas generators in the factory. 

Operates all diesel and gas generators in the factory. 

Operate main distribution panels for power changeovers. 

Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on installed generators to avoid breakdowns. 

Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment supporting generator operations. 

Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect operating issues. 

Perform efficient troubleshooting and fault finding on machinery and equipment. 

Document maintenance parameters to drive plant improvement. 

THE PERSON MUST 

Have good verbal and written communication skills.  

Good knowledge of maintenance management processes, corrosion prevention techniques, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.  

Proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.  

Efficient planning and execution of maintenance schedules. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

5 O’ level credits including Mathematics& English in not more than 2 sittings. 

Alternatively, NABTEB, City & Guilds, or WAEC Technical certification. 

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum requirement: two (2) years cognate experience.
