PURPOSE 

To treat waste water and operate the Waste Water Treatment Plant so as to prevent environmental pollution and adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements 

THE JOB  

Maintain and operate the plant operation processes. 

Conduct daily checks on the Critical Control Points of the Plant. 

Conduct regular Plant Preventive and routine Maintenance on the machines and equipment. 

Mixing of Chemicals used in the waste water plant. 

Ensure that the plant is always neat (i.e. good housekeeping at all times). 

Ensure availability of chemicals/materials needed to run the plant. 

Keep a daily log of activities in and around the plant. 

Ensure that the discharged water is safe for the surroundings and in line with regulatory requirements 

Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of work 

Perform any other duties as assigned by Management 

Ensure compliance with FSMS requirements in the assigned work process 

THE PERSON MUST HAVE  

Have an excellent verbal and written communication skill. 

Good knowledge of process safety management 

Have integrity and be a good team player 

Be organised and able to manage materials efficiently 

Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability 

Possess good communication and teamwork skills 

QUALIFICATIONS  

Minimum of (5) five credits in O'Levels, Trade Test, C&G or OND in Sciences or Engineering 

EXPERIENCE  

Minimum of two (2) years' cognate experience preferably in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment
