PURPOSE
Improving maintenance productivity and lowering equipment breakdowns by predicting and eliminating potential delays via meticulous planning, scheduling, and recording of labor, parts and materials, and equipment access.
THE JOB
- Leading a team of planners or schedulers and providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and development.
- Create, oversee, and establish a continuous preventive maintenance plan to maximize equipment reliability.
- Supervise the computerized maintenance management software.
- Establish work packages for all scheduled maintenance operations.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate equipment maintenance history, work records, database, and other relevant documents.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and reduce inefficiencies.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies in planning activities.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Pay keen attention to details and be highly organized.
- Be proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.
QUALIFICATION
- B.sc or HND in any Engineering Field.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 4 years of relevant job experience.
- Proficiency in database management, milling technology and CMMS will be an added advantage.
