PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Control and coordinate material and product movement on and off sites so that all acceptable materials entering or leaving the company are recorded and accounted for, in line with licensing requirements.

THE JOB

• Direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge, recording all vehicles entering/leaving the site.
• Record weights and product type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver signatures, etc for accounting purpose.
• Maintain the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge including the office in a clean, tidy and hazard free condition.
• Accurately weigh trucks entering and exiting the factory.
• Resolve weight-related variances promptly.
• Maintain accurate and precise records of all weighbridge operations.
• Assist and support engineers and vendors during weighbridge calibration.
• Submit daily weighing tickets and reports for TL (Team Lead) and WBO (Weighbridge Officer) review.

THE PERSON MUST

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Coordinate the collection of data from point of origin.
• Have an excellent customer service skill
• Pay high attention to details.
• Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O' level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years’ cognate experience.
