SILO OPERATOR PREMIER FEED MILLS, IBADAN
PURPOSE
To ensure that all Silos equipment and machines are properly operated to achieve target and effective Production.
THE JOB
•Daily walkthrough/routine checks on
the machines before carrying and during
operation.
•Control panel board to convey
grains from in-take pit to the silo and from silo to bagging line for
load-out/dispatch.
•Carefully observe the panel lights
during operation for indication of malfunctioning of machines.
•Report, if any, malfunctioning of
machines to mechanical technician for mechanical faults or electrical
technician for electrical fault for onward repairs or replacement.
•Record quantity of grains received
or dispatched with the customer information in the silo operation record book.
•Stamp and sign customer waybill and
return same to account officer.
•Monitor the laborers during
receiving of grains to check for compliance to safety, quality of grains
received and report observations .
•Daily aeration of the grains in the silo according to set standard/quality assurance guideline and record the hours in our daily aeration record book.
THE PERSON MUST
•Have ability to identify micro
ingredients.
•be familiar with silo equipment and
safety protocols.
•Have the willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
•5 O’ level credits including
Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
•Computer literacy would be an added
advantage.
EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of 2 years' experience
in a similar role.
