PURPOSE
To assist the Assistant Accountant by ensuring accuracy
of Suppliers Invoices and their prompt settlement. Accuracy of related
companies’ transactions and account balances for the purpose of reporting the
true and fair position of the company’s financials.
THE JOB
- Monitor timely and accurate posting of all GRVs (raw,
packaging & Spares) to ensure adequate inventory balance
- Processing of ad-hoc staff payment (i.e. erectors,
visiting technicians etc.)-weekly.
- Preparation of Provisions for Accrued Expenses for the
month
- Processing Staff I.O.U.
retirement
- Processing of all suppliers and services providers’
invoices, and follow up with payables Apapa on prompt payment to supplier
- Participate in periodic and year-end stock count
exercise and preparation of variance report.
- Updating of Capital expenditure to aid management
decisions.
- Reconciliation of bank account
- Monthly preparation OPEX CAPEX & Maintenance report.
THE PERSON
MUST
- Have excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
- Have Problem-solving skills to deal
with parts inventory issues.
- Have analytical skills to help manage
the inventory, pricing and estimates.
- Have great organizational and time
management abilities.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’ level credits including
Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
- OND in Accountancy or its equivalent or
related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 Years minimum experience in a similar
role.
