PURPOSE
To Provide first line HR professional support to assigned business units for the purposes of
achieving the organization's goals and objectives.
THE JOB
- Provide first line advisory services to employees in assigned business unit with respect to HR transactional and specialist services.
- Provide first line HR support and advice on organization design and development issues.
- Ensure optimal manning levels in assigned BU, whilst keeping a close watch on headcount efficiency, maintain and report agreed productivity metrics
- Provide accurate Data Analytics.
- Work closely with the HRBP and other HR functions as it relates to assigned business units to drive HR global agenda and improve overall HR service delivery
- Provide first line support for the annual objective setting process and facilitate effective performance management process.
- Monitor all L&D intervention programmes to close competency gaps
- Work closely with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance on employees related issues.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate effectively across all levels.
- Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Good conflict management with resolution skills and thorough knowledge of labor laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc./HND in Humanities or any relevant social sciences.
- Human Resource professional certification e.g. CIPM or any other recognized certification.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
