PURPOSE

To support mechanical team by ensuring that all jobs requiring fitting are effectively and efficiently attended to with minimum cost.

THE JOB

• Carry out all planned and corrective fitting work using the Job Order system.
• Carry out Daily task by inspecting the equipment allocated and reporting back to superior.
• Work according to generally accepted good engineering practices and company policy and procedures.
• Diligently inspect equipment and proactively identify potential failures before they occur and report these to your engineer.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including post-task cleanup.

THE PERSON MUST

• Excellent Organizational and Multi-Tasking Skills with solid attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to learn.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations in a workshop or industrial environment.
•  Knowledge of various fitting techniques, including alignment, bolting and other method.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• Technical certification would be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years’ experience in similar Industrial environment.
