INFORMATION ASSURANCE MANAGER - FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA, APAPA
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide assurance over the effectiveness of controls of the cyber security infrastructure and processes designed to protect information assets against threats and vulnerabilities at FMN.
THE JOB
- Conduct log-based and endpoint-based threat detection to detect and protect against threats coming from multiple sources.
- Correlate activity across assets (endpoint, network, applications, mobile) and environments (on-premises, cloud) to identify patterns of anomalous activity.
- Review alerts and data from sensors, documenting a formal and highly technical incident report.
- Assist the Information Assurance Manager audit control and management of user accounts, employees and contractors.
- Assist to collate emerging cyber security threats and provide recommendations to manage them.
- Assist the Information Assurance Manager to conduct network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis
THE PERSON MUST
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understand data backup and recovery, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to configure and manage network devices like firewalls, VPNs, DNS servers, and proxy servers.
- Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals, management, and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATION
- First Degree in Accounting, Sciences or Engineering.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
