PURPOSE
Lead the business development and account management efforts in the
flexible packaging sector by managing key accounts,
acquiring new clients, and driving revenue
growth.
THE JOB
- Develop
and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets across
Nigeria.
- Serve
as the primary point of contact for strategic customers and ensure consistent
satisfaction and retention.
- Understand
customer needs and recommend appropriate packaging solutions.
- Recommend
improvements in product offerings, pricing strategy, and service delivery based
on market intelligence.
- Provide
regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market insights to senior
management.
- Promote
a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.
- Identify
new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities for expansion.
- Conduct
regular business reviews with key accounts to identify growth opportunities and
resolve issues.
- Manage
and grow relationships with major clients across FMCG, food & beverage,
agriculture, pharmaceuticals, etc.
THE PERSON MUST
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with standards (e.g.
ISO, NAFDAC) and quality control practices in packaging.
- Ability to translate customer needs
into technical packaging solutions.
- Ability to penetrate key accounts
and close high-value deals.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five years sales
experience in flexible packaging or related sectors.
