PURPOSE
To lead end to end implementation of planned Maintenance, preventive
maintenance and Remedial & Repair works within Maintenance department to
ensure reliability and availability of all milling machines.
THE JOB
- Adhere to all Occupational Health
and Safety Administration procedures, promote and enforce maintenance safety
protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of employees.
- Monitor the progress of all types
of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities of all Mechanical
equipment, components and installations as well as randomly validate the
quality of job done to minimize down time for the equipment to increased plant
availability.
- Provide prompt response to
breakdowns and resolve the issues as quickly as Possible.
- Update all records of maintenance
activities for analysis and future reference.
- Recommend new installations or
modifications to improve plant control performance or replacement of defective
or obsolete Mechanical equipment systems and subsystems.
- Coaches and develops team members
to enhance their competence. Plan, design and implement the modification of
plants as the need arises.
- Review the Plant Preventive
Maintenance (PPM) following breakdowns & improvement of the Computerized
Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as necessary.
- Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
is carried out on breakdowns exceeding the set threshold and drive closing of
developed actions from conducted RCA as well as document RCA records.
THE
PERSON MUST
- Have excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
- Pay keen attention to details and
be highly organized.
- Have excellent time management and
prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting
and diagnostic abilities for mechanical systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.SC.
or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge
of Milling Technology.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a
similar role.
