PURPOSE
To support the Compliance Manager with the implementation and
management of an effective compliance and controls system.
THE JOB
- Assist in creating awareness of
corporate compliance polices including Code of conduct to employees and other
stakeholders.
- Assist in administering compliance
software and effect updates.
- Assist in conducting compliance
risk assessment as input to audit plan.
- Follow up with HR Managers and
obtain updates on the extent of employees undertaking attestation of compliance
with the code.
- Monitor compliance database to
ensure compliance with captured compliances.
- Follow up with compliance champions
on the level of compliance with regulatory requirements and obtain information
on new laws/amendment of existing laws.
- Conduct audit of corporate policies
and procedures for compliance.
- Carry out periodic audits to ensure
compliance with policies and regulatory obligations.
THE
PERSON MUST
- Have excellent interpersonal,
Leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and
other compliance management tools.
- Posses a strong organizational and
follow-up skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical
thinking.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc. /
HND in Economics or Finance, Law, or related
discipline.
- Professional
Qualification will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of two years' experience in a
similar role.
