PURPOSE
To assist the Safety Health Environment (SHE) Manager in the
implementation of global best practices in safety, health and environment programmes or
activities.
THE JOB
- Conduct regular inspections of the
facility to identify and escalate any potential risks related to accidents,
fire outbreaks, or hazards, ensuring timely response and preventive measures.
- Ensure that all environmental and
safety equipment are in proper working condition; maintain accurate inventory
and status reports as required.
- Supervise the disposal of solid and
general waste to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Monitor factory operations to
enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and address any
deviations.
- Educate and counsel employees on
the importance of maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety
protocols and best practices.

ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Have Excellent risk assessment and
hazard identification skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- O.ND
in Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related science disciplines.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years' experience in
a similar role.
