PURPOSE
Manage and support procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and efficient supplier relationships while optimizing organizational spending.
THE JOB
- Ensure the adequacy of bid specifications and preparation of sourcing-related documents.
- Process ERP transactions and monitor contract execution, including termination, renewal, or amendment of terms.
- Identify and close procurement bypasses to increase procurement involvement in spending.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure optimal value for spending under management.
- Support business partnering for assigned units and ensure timely delivery on agreed SLAs.
- Track and report key procurement metrics in alignment with departmental objectives.
- Assist the Procurement Manager in building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships.
- Address supplier performance issues and escalate critical concerns as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstocking.

QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc. or HND in Business Admin/Management or other related fields.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two year's experience in a similar role.
